AV Consult Bolivia has been engaged with Bolivia's national civil nuclear program since its inception. Our specialized experts contributed to the original design of the national program, working in close alignment with IAEA methodologies, frameworks, and internationally recognized best practices.

The program was structured to address priority applications including nuclear medicine, industrial irradiation technologies for enhancing export-quality products, and long-term capacity building for research into advanced nuclear technologies — including small modular reactors (SMRs).

Today, AV Consult continues to provide strategic advisory support to the national government for the reform and re-engineering of ABEN (Bolivia's nuclear energy agency). Additionally, we support private-sector oncology facilities in accessing impact finance and donation programs that expand access to cancer prevention, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy services for underserved populations.
